Lucille Bogan was an all time American blues singer and songwriter born way back in 1897 and was known for her many rude and crude lyrics which were particularly shocking for the day. Her wit and charm lasts to this very day and her lyrics are still capable of bringing a smile to anyone’s face with lyrics from “Shave Em Dry” and “Till the cows come home” ready to make even the most unshockable person blush.

Sometimes known as “dirty blues” other artists such Ma Rainey the lyrics were set to create fun from poetry with lyrics such as:
